The giants of our pasts.

Our Wednesday April 8th Naturalist Class featured trees. I learned that this is the American Beech and that beach trees are the ones that keep those yellow leaves all winter long, mostly young trees have all the leaves though, but looking up at this beauty you can see her yellow leaves showing Also I learned that just because a tree is large does not mean it is old. Fun fact right there! 
This particular tree was seen in Sprunica in the church cemetery.
