Well, yesterday I discovered the little albino Pacman/Horned Frog had passed away. She did have visible genetic issues with the one foot, but I thought she was doing okay. I noticed she didn't eat for a week though, perhaps something was wrong internally that I could not see. She didn't grow like Dani has, which probably was part of the reason she passed away. So this makes two little Pacman frogs having passed, Cheese and Fluff.

I wondered if it was due to my care, but I know that can't be, as I raised Dani up fine and well (Dani even just ate a fuzzy mouse yesterday.) I think maybe like a lot of albinos these get over-bred and probably to related pairs (same with Cheese, who was a Pineapple morph) and well, genetics get fucked up that way, as y'all know.

I wasn't sure how I felt because I didn't even cry when Fluff passed. Maybe it is due to losing a lot of critters. I mean, its part of life, death. So, I guess maybe in a way I'm getting used to it :/ One thing is for sure, I will not be getting anymore Pacman frogs.

Dani can live 10 years, and she's real awesome to have around. I still don't know if Dani is a girl or a boy, but I'm thinking girl, as boys tend to croak, I'm told, at this age. Also I've been looking for the markings of a male (males are supposed to have dark spots on the bottoms of their feet, something about how the sperm is transferred to the female) and haven't found any of those either.

My little cemetery of critters is crowded now.
