Strange Summer Days

Its fucking July. It should be humid and hot, but its not. Okay, I do like this weather, a lot, but it is very unusual for July. 70s and chilly nights that feel like Autumn. This could mean it'll be super hot in August, but who knows. It makes me wish for Autumn, but Summer is still here, and there are still many more adventures to be had before the leaves turn into a beautiful sea of fire. 

This nice weather made for an excellent Tuesday. My brother went with me back to Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge, and it was his first time there. He really enjoyed just strolling about, I believe it was relaxing after work for him. I chose a new trail  for us to explore and skipped the longer one that took a while for me to find my way back out of last time. This new trail gave me a great spot to return to for awesome sunset photos in the future I hope.  There's another trail that I know of to walk yet at Muscatatuck...and then...there's this road. They say no motor vehicles down it...and I see this house across a field I believe is abandoned, but the area is all tall grass mean to be for just the wildlife. I am so, very curious to explore these areas though. 

Thursday was an alright day as well. I went down south in Indiana to an orchard and winery place with the parents (my mom had gotten free tickets for it from somewhere). I did my first wine tasting. I recently watched a movie (a depiction of an Edgar Allen Poe short story I believe it was) where Vincent price played as a wine taster...I imagined myself as Vincent Price. I also bought myself some Blueberry Cheddar. I bought it because it was unique. Its not bad, but ya can't taste as much blueberry as you'd like. 

On the trip back we were going to take 31 straight up (an older highway) but had to turn around due to an accident and take the interstate. Before we did this though I saw many antique and thrift stores I sooo wanted to check out. I shall be returning to these places methinks. I think a day (or two) trip down 31 and back up 11 should be very nice. 

Well...random kinda. My sound didn't work again, but then it did work today...but now videos won't load...they won't play. This is kinda annoying, but oh well I guess. It'll get eventually worked out.
